There are four menus available in the Translator application:
• The menu contains only one command: About Translator, which displays the version number and the author of Translator. Desk accessories aren't available.
• The Convert menu includes the commands that do the conversion. The commands that involve the Interchange format won't be of interest to most users; the details about these commands are included in the Interchange information that's available from T/Maker Company. The Quit command leaves Translator and returns to the Finder. During a conversion, the Quit command changes to Stop Conversion, and you can choose it to interrupt the conversion process.
• The Transfer menu contains one command, Transfer to WriteNow, which starts up WriteNow and opens all the documents you’ve just converted to with Translator. You can use this command when Translator is in the same folder as WriteNow or in the System Folder.
• The Help menu commands display helpful information in a window on the desktop. When there's more than a window's worth of information, you can use the scroll bar to see the rest.
